Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment · Clovis, CA
Half the frizz. Half the blow-dry.
A smoothing treatment, not a straightener. It keeps your hair's movement and takes away the fight — for three to four months at a time.

The short version
Smoothing is not straightening.
A relaxer breaks the bonds in your hair and rebuilds them straight. That is permanent, and it is a different decision entirely. A Brazilian Blowout does not do that.
It coats and seals the hair, filling the cuticle so humidity cannot get in and lift it. Your curl pattern and your wave stay — they just stop frizzing, and they dry smooth instead of fluffy. If you have waves you actually like, you keep them.
What changes is the morning. Most clients cut their blow-dry time roughly in half, and a flat iron that used to be mandatory becomes optional. By month four it has faded out gradually rather than leaving a line of demarcation, and you decide whether to do it again.
The process
How the appointment goes.
Every new client starts with the consultation. It is fifteen minutes, it is free, and it is the reason the rest of this goes well.
- 1Free consultation, 15 minutesSmoothing is not right for every head, and it is worth ten minutes to find out which one you have. Bring your hair as it normally is — not freshly styled — so she can see what it actually does.
- 2Clarify and prepHair is washed down to a clean slate so the treatment can bond evenly. Product build-up is the usual reason a smoothing treatment underperforms.
- 3Treatment, sealed in sectionsThe solution goes on in small sections, then is blown dry and sealed with the iron section by section. This is the part that takes the time and the part that cannot be rushed.
- 4Rinsed, masked, styledRinsed out, treated with a mask, and finished. You walk out smooth, and you can wash it whenever you like — there is no waiting period to sit through.
Good fit
Who it's for.
- Your hair fights the valley humidity Frizz that shows up by lunch no matter what you did at 7 a.m. is exactly the problem this solves.
- You have extensions A favorite combination. Smooth natural hair blends into extension hair far more convincingly, and the whole head behaves the same way in the morning.
- You are blonde Lightened hair is more porous, which means more frizz. Smoothing seals it down and makes blonde look glossier than it did.
- You want your time back Twenty minutes a day with a round brush adds up to days a year. This is the service people rebook for that reason alone.

Aftercare
Making it last.
- Sulfate-free and sodium-chloride-free shampoo. Salt strips the treatment out faster than anything else in your shower. Check the label on what you own now.
- Skip heavy oils and silicones. They sit on top of the seal and dull it.
- Keep up with your haircuts. Smoothing makes ends look better; it does not repair them. Split ends still read as frizz.
- Chlorine and salt water fade it. Rinse out the same day, every time.
- Plan it with your color. Smoothing and color in the same project needs an order of operations. Mention both at the consultation and it gets sequenced properly.
